An exciting and innovative event is happening in Bangkok, suited for aspiring social changemakers. Under Thoresen Thai Agencies (TTA), led by President & CEO Chalermchai “Kueng” Mahagitsiri and Harisawan “PJ” Siriwong, Managing Director of TTA LAB, are kicking off a project, “TTA Lab: Next Generation of Creative Leaders” under the theme of “Creative Economy,” targeting future changemakers in Thailand. TTA Lab will be a long-term project, with plans to launch a 2nd batch next year.
This project aims to inspire Thai youths to get involved in local development through the concept of sustainable community development practices. Following a series of activities across four regions in Thailand, TTA recognizes the importance of “sustainability”, whether it’s in the context of sustaining the environment or sustaining culture. This has fueled TTA Lab to partake as a part of The 2024 United Nations Climate Change Conference (COP29), a leading global climate conference held by UNFCC, to be held in Azerbaijan on 18th November 2024. The conference is where important talks on climate change, sustainability efforts and carbon emissions will take place, with thought leaders and policy makers from across the globe in attendance.
TTA LAB collaborates with the COP29 Youth Delegate and the Thailand Youth Climate Council (TYCC). They will represent Thailand dressed in outfits designed by SACIT and its partners to promote Thai sustainability efforts and showcase Kotcher accessories made from leftover Thai fabrics. The team isn’t just bringing outfits but also taking the Thai Mutelu brand “Bonban” to showcase, made from recycled paper, as well as P80 Plus Spray made from Thai fruits by Thai entrepreneurs to showcase sustainable Thai products to the global stage.
The world is moving towards increased sustainability efforts with corporates, enterprises, and consumers. The collaboration between TTA Lab and TYCC will be a good opportunity to showcase Thailand’s sustainability efforts to the world.
